Well, this is my second digital/matte painting work! It took me much more time than the first one "The Lost Temple", but I think the final result its better.
In the beginning my idea was to create a fantasy scene with some kind of warrior or something like that, however I didn't like the direction the work was taking, so I almost changed everything in the painting an turned it in a sci-fi scene.
It's a desert landscape with some rock towers with labs/buildings on the top an also some underground labs (represented by that little yellow rectangles aka windows). In the horizon you can also see some buildings and factories from the nearest city.
I've learnt new techniques and tricks doing this work and I hope my third digital/matte painting work is even better than this one. I'll keep training.
